Using the cover of The History of Art by H. W. Janson as a reference, Paulette made this painting to show how beautiful the statue in the photo is, especially as it’s represented by the photo. She’s never seen the statue in real life, so the history book came in really handy here.

According to Wikipedia, H.W. Janson described it as "the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture," and it is one of a small number of major Hellenistic statues surviving in the original, rather than Roman copies.

Paulette added a face to it to make it even more great.
